Is movie/film countable or uncountable?

The basic answer is – movie and film are both countable nouns in English language (British or American English). The plural is formed according to the grammar rules.


Plural of nouns in English


The pluralization of nouns in English generally follows fairly simple rules. The plural is formed from the singular by adding the ending -s or -es. However, there are exception words, the so-called irregular forms, which have to be memorized. There are also a number of nouns that do not have a singular number.
